Dr. Allen Hidalgo graduated from Touro College as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology at Hofstra University.
During his career, Dr. Hidalgo has worked in Baltimore specializing in orthopedic sports rehabilitation. He has worked with a diverse array of patients, ranging from office employees to collegiate athletes.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hidalgo enjoys working out, traveling, and scuba diving. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Satterfield attended Sherman College of Chiropractic, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic, and King’s College, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience.
While attending chiropractic school, Dr. Satterfield studied the Gonstead, Thompson, and Diversified systems of analysis.
He enjoys working with all patient populations from athletes to children. Dr. Satterfield became a chiropractor because he believes in the body’s ability to heal through specific chiropractic care and rehabilitation.
Dr. Daniel Huang graduated from University at Buffalo with a B.S. in exercise science. He then attended New York Chiropractic College where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2015. Dr. Huang's approach to patient care consists of spinal and extremity rehabilitation, and ergonomic assessment. Dr. Huang screens his patients for muscular imbalances in order to identify problem areas and to prevent future injury.
As a former athlete, Dr. Huang understands the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and has dedicated himself to helping injured athletes recover and return to their sport. Some of the therapy techniques he uses include: RockTape Kinesiotaping, ConnecTx Instrument Therapy, Webster Technique and Trigger Point Therapy.
In his free time, Dr. Huang plays competitive volleyball and runs in long distance races throughout New York City. Dr. Huang recognizes the importance of giving back to the local community and he enjoys volunteering his time to various non-profit organizations.
Dr. Thomas Kearn graduated from West Virginia University in 2010 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and an Area of Emphasis in Aquatic Therapy. He continued his education at New York Chiropractic College, where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. During his studies, he completed a prestigious internship at South Shore Neurologic Associates in the Chronic Pain Division, where he focused on high complexity cases featuring a multitude of neurologic conditions and chronic pain patients.
In 2014, Dr. Kearn joined Axon Health Associates, where he serviced NYC’s downtown community, as well as Long Island patients, before opening and managing a new office in Midtown. As a former athlete, Dr. Kearn fosters an interest in sports injuries and performance, which motivated him to obtain a sports medicine certification in order to better work with a wide range of athletes.
Dr. Kearn prides himself on his diagnostic accuracy and his ability to identify the cause of a patient’s symptoms; these skills allow for a more efficient treatment and better short and long-term outcomes for each patient. In his spare time, Dr. Kearn enjoys working out and playing ice hockey, beach volleyball and golf.
Marites “Tess” is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the office. Her responsibilities are wide and varied but her highest priority is to ensure that the patients receive the highest quality of care. She will ensure to meet with you and explain in detail about billing and insurance. Tess has extensive experience in the medical field. She is trained as a medical and chiropractic assistant to perform initial consultations, vital signs and some physiotherapy applications. She received her BA in Family and Consumer Science with a Concentration on Food and Nutrition from Queens College, 2012. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer and a member of the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).
Outside of work, she is a Licensed Zumba Instructor and a Pound Pro. She is currently studying to become a Corrective Exercise Specialist.
Dr. Cueto graduated from New York Chiropractic College with a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic in 2008 earning top honors in Diagnostic Imaging, Adjusting Technique for the Spine and Extremities, Service, Education as well as the Student of the Year in 2007.
Dr. Cueto Specifically practices the Gonstead System of Chiropractic adjusting to address any spinal and extremity dysfunctions as well as the FAKTR and ConnecTX Therapy techniques to address soft tissue and muscular conditions. He also specializes in specific Corrective and Rehabilitative Exercises.
He received his Board Certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician from the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians in 2011 that specializes in treating athletes and sports injuries.
Dr. Cueto is also IPCA Certified for the Webster Technique, which is used to treat pregnant women and can reduce complications during labor.
Pamela Yap is a Licensed Acupuncturist and holds a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM). She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal therapy. She has treated patients in various settings and a wide range of cases, from pediatrics to pain management. Pamela has practiced at St. Vincent's Comprehensive Cancer Center and Lincoln Hospital's Psychiatry Department and also teaches Qigong, dietary therapy and meditation as essential components of well-being.
Louis Ottino received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He began his career in Florida where he treated a wide range of patients and conditions. Dr. Ottino is certified in Flexion-Distraction as well as Graston Technique. His ability to treat patients using different techniques allows him to create a custom rehabilitation plan that is most appropriate for each individual patient. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, New York State Chiropractic Association and Florida Chiropractic Association.
Terence McDevitt received his physical therapy degree from Hogeschool Van Amsterdam in the Netherlands. He is a NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has been with the Wall Street location of Axon Health Associates since 1999.
